지긋지긋한 패스워드
패스워드 인증방식은 어쩔 수 없이 쓰이고 있는 느낌이 있는데
정말 많은 단점을 가지고 있다.
여기저기 산재해 있는 패스워드들을 기억해야 하고
주기적으로 바꿔주어야 하고..
보안을 위해 어쩔 수 없이 유저에게 희생을 강요하는 인증방식이다.
그런 유저의 고통을 줄여주기 위해 구글, 애플 등에서 산재해 있는 패스워드를 관리해 주는 툴을 제공한다.
하지만 그 툴에 로그인하기 위해 패스워드를 넣어야 한다.
그리고 패스워드 인증, 토큰 인증 등은 개발자에게도 귀찮은 존재이기도 하다.

세계적인 초거대 빅 테크 기업 세 곳이 손을 잡은 것 같다.
서로 조금씩 다른 기술을 선보이고 있는 것 같기는 하지만

디바이스, 생체정보를 이용한 패스워드 없는 인증을 제공하는 기술인 것 같다.

기대 기대 기대 기대!!!
애플, 구글, 마이크로소프트가 손을 잡았으니 아마 곧 패스워드는 역사 속으로 사라지지 않을까.
패스워드 없는 인증에 보안적인 이슈는 없을까?? 라는 생각도 들지만
패스워드를 비롯해서 어떤 인증이라도 보안적인 이슈는 존재하기 때문에
결국 인증은 유저 편리성을 주는 passwordless 기술로 대체되지 않을까.
전 인류가 선해진다면 이런 인증 기술은 필요 없을 것인데...
